Here's Why The TW200 Is An Excellent Starter Motorcycle (ft. Mobstreet83)
Wow, I thought it was a great review comparison. So I have an 8th gen civic 2008, and this is my 2nd 8th gen. The first one was 06 coupe manual transmission and I absolutely liked it I bought it in 2006 brand new and had it for 8 years no problems at all, 0. But I sold it in 2014, and I regretted it ever since, so in 2019, I bought another civic coupe manual transmission and it was a piece of crap. But I knew what I had, so I put 1700 dollars into it for parts, and I fixed it myself for 14 and a half days myself. Now it's like brand new again, and it's so fun to drive. For the stick shift, just change the shifter components with Acuity or Hybrid racing one to make it alot more krisp. 🤔
How much did you pay for the 2018 si? How much did you sell it for? Also how much did you pay for the 2008 si?
nice car sounds really nice
I use to own a 09 civic si coupe hfp for 2 years but sadly I sold it since it had too much mileage and needed some work done to it but I'll definitely get one back for sure I don't care if i have to pay more for one that is low mileage and clean
this was a great review
I got myself one as well with 230k for 3700 and it has been a beauty and there was also one original I bought it from, they had the og sticker from when he bought and he took care of it and so far this car is amazing, good luck
I will say that once you swap out that dated radio center for an actual end center, you’ll have wireless Apple CarPlay and it is so convenient compared to the tenth gen’s service issues w/ corded Apple CarPlay 🤝
That’s the plan! Mine is starting to go out anyway and it’s driving me nuts
2019 got a volume knob. I miss my 10th gen Si but I dont miss the payment lol
Exactly!
I've had my fa5 for a couple months. Month 1 was all maintenance, month 2 has been just enjoying it. Its not a bad car at all
You found a car like mine. Congratulations. Very rare to still have the original engine.
They tried to get me into every newer one and I told them no. I felt it was a special version and it's been an amazing vehicle. So much fun to drive.
Well…I have an 11th gen si. It has a turbo and V-Tec. It’s pretty bananas with ktuner tsp stage 1. It’s my daily and I love everything about it! I don’t need fog lamps and heated seats. It drives it self practically. It’s badass. IMO 🤙🏼
I have both the 11th generation and the 8th gen love both of them 🙏🏽
Do you still have this car? I just picked up a 08 spec b and im in Utah. It needs some work and im trying to learn
My roommate owns the car now, what do you need help with?
@@HandBrakeJake That's cool! And I was just speaking in general that I'm trying to learn etc. Loved the video and I learned alot.
8th generations honda si are one of the best generations of the Hondas built besides the 1999 2000 honda si. A lot of potential and soon become a classic car one day soon worth a lot of money 👍
I was mistaken, the 8th gen civic also has electronic steering. Thank you for correcting me everyone!
Please get a loud intake for it! the induction sounds it make are exotic lmao and then hondata flashpro to fix that rev hang and there is so much customizable things and tuning potential.
That’s on the list! The induction noise on this thing is bonkers
8th gen has electric power steering too
222k really isn’t crazy for these cars. Oil changes every 3k miles and these will easily hit 300k+
I got an 08 coupe , bought in 09 with 7K on it. HFP suspension, exhaust, sway bars . Still going strong at 285K miles, needs AC though. wish i had your color. BTW the steering is electric on the Si and rack and pinion on the regular. Its not my main car anymore , but I still like driving it.
I have owned my 8th gen si for 8 years now. I have changed and replace everything . And it is still alive and well. One of the best Honda platforms to work on and learn about
watched this vid after owning a skunk2 megapower rr, for 2 years on my fg2 daily and i agree it's loud, however, i am clinically insane, and have bought alpha headers and a short ram intake, its gunna be a bit louder
😂 you’ll have to let me know how you like headers, I’m thinking about doing those as well
Today I learned Jake is terrified by deer. Worth
Oh deer
OMG your rockin the crockin
Does the 10th gen SI have CVT transmission as well?
No, the Si’s only come with a manual, as god intended
@@HandBrakeJake oh right, duh haha
My 2019 Civic Sport Hatchback has volume knob and AC knobs 👀 not an SI though
Appreciate your honest opinions on this exhaust.
cant forget the wrx sti s2 and the legacy s4 series! i want me a legacy s401 so bad.
great video
That does not explain which gear he was in, all you said was you THINK he is in 4 high and it doesn't state if he was or if he even switched to 4 low
The bottom screw of the 3 that hold the mirror on is totally stuck. Did you have any problems with that being rusted or stuck?
Gotta be Utah.
This is awesome! Gives me some motivation to keep working on my swap 😅 keep it up!
Look at you being all mechanic masterson
You really need to make sure that you measure that input shaft hahahaha also the Prius welcomes you to the Cummins club
Enjoying the series. Would love a voice over instead of the text overlayed on the video. Keep up the good work.
Noted. Thank you for the feedback!
@@HandBrakeJake Just make the videos how you make them lol
Nice jeep!!👌 What lift you have on it?
Thank you! It has a Zone Off-road 4.5 in lift!
Those XJ's are pretty amazing actually.
Spartian locker in the rear around 350 bucks
I thought about a Spartan locker, but I think I'm gonna go with an LSD in the rear
@HandBrakeJake I Hava a Spartan locker it's better than a limited slip. In my 2000 xj
Jeez that passenger princess needs to be better at turning on the lights 😉😂
So fun I cant wait to go back up
I miss real jeeps
I have mild blindness from white out
Your car is really nice I like it a lot.

My guy I can get you a parts or labor discount at the dealer if you ever need
Waiting on part 2
Part 2 is coming soon!
I would say it was an average size leak 😂
looks like western colorado
My 98 XJ came with rear trac-loc LSD & U.C from the factree. I could get up that in 4hi. Open diffs dont climb anything easier. I might add a elocker up front
